It can be hard for you to bid adieu your co-workers as it is a very emotional moment for you and this process becomes even more challenging. Whether you’re saying goodbye to a departing employee, offering well-wishes to an associate leaving the office for good, or informing your staff of an impending exit from the company, it’s nice when people actually read and acknowledge your carefully chosen words.
Your good letter subject line should be simple and to the point. It should be on point, relative to what you write in the e-mail and will also contribute the tone for the email.
Pause to give thanks for the time you did spend with those co-workers . Focus the areas where you had the best experiences/projects/support that you found great during your time in the company. Practical gratitude, you have to actually mean it and voice your recognition for the work that goes on around you.
